Percy, President/DBR District 60 Mark Ward.

Motor City Local Lodge 698 received its 5th Appreciation Award for their donation and participation in Supporting Our Troops.  This is an annual benefit which allows the VFW Post 812 in El Paso, Texas to provide going away and welcome home gatherings for our troops deploying in/out of Iraq and Afghanistan.   Without the generosity of donations it would not be possible for the VFW to continue its endless effort in ensuring that our soldiers know what their sacrifices mean to us here.  The VFW pledges as long as we have soldiers serving overseas they will continue to serve them here at home.

This is a great way for Motor City Local Lodge 698 and it's members to show their appreciation and respect for those men and women who serve our country and give us the freedom we enjoy today
